Battle-ax

A battle-ax was a weapon wielded by Sith King Adas on the planet Korriban during the Pre-Republic era. The oversized battle-ax of Adas was created through the use of Sith alchemy. Around 28,000 BBY, Adas employed his ax against other Sith in a series of violent confrontations. These conflicts ultimately led to the unification and consolidation of the various nations and tribes of Korriban. His time as ruler became known as the "Reign of the Ax." Approximately 27,700 BBY, during the invasion of Korriban by the Rakata species' Infinite Empire, the Sith demonstrated their ability to defend themselves, and Adas, even in his old age, refused to accept their actions. He spearheaded the vigorous defense of Korriban, leading his people. He took part in the retaliatory actions, using his massive ax to drive back the invaders and killing numerous Rakatan warriors.

Following the Discovery of Korriban in 6900 BBY, Jen'jidai Sorzus Syn documented King Adas's battle-axes within her chronicle, which was subsequently compiled by Darth Sidious into his Book of Sith. In 19 BBY, Telloti Cillmam'n, a member of the Jedi ExplorCorps, discovered the armor belonging to the Dark Jedi Warb Null on Nicht Ka, a world washed in ammonia situated on the edge of the ancient Sith Empire. After putting on the armor, Cillmam'n was overwhelmed with visions of ancient Sith history, including the Rakatan invasion of Korriban, where he witnessed King Adas using his battle-ax to cut down many Rakatan warriors.
