Following the escape from the Chimaera, the Empire discovered the Grysk had established colonies on the satellites orbiting the world of Mokivj. This conflict resulted in the liberation of Force-adept Chiss females who were being kept in suspended animation inside the antiquated Confederacy droid manufacturing facility.
Vader deployed his own battalion, known as the 1st, to the planetary surface to eliminate the Grysk forces that were holding the Chiss children captive within the installation. Simultaneously, Admiral Thrawn engaged the enemy vessels in orbit.
