Battle of Snevu

The Iesei nest had established itself on Snevu, providing refuge for the Protectors: the Joiner Jedi including Jacen Solo, Jaina Solo, Zekk, Tesar Sebatyne, Tahiri Veila, and Lowbacca. These Jedi had sought shelter after their assault on Supply Depot Thrago. Unexpectedly, a Chiss strike force materialized from hyperspace and launched an assault on the planet.

The engagement commenced with the Jedi, piloting their StealthX fighters, targeting the Chiss task force. This initial assault rapidly depleted the Iesei nest's arms stockpile. The Chiss suffered losses of several capital ships, while simultaneously bombarding the planet, devastating much of the Iesei nest. The Chiss then moved to deploy their parasite bomb onto the world. However, the hastily produced weapon malfunctioned, failing to detonate. Consequently, the Chiss were compelled to retrieve the device before it could be analyzed by the Jedi and Killiks. The Chiss intensified their planetary bombardment and brought a Chiss assault cruiser into a closer orbit, dispatching a drop ship carrying vape charges to arm the parasite bomb. Jagged Fel was at the controls of this crucial drop ship.

The Iesei and Jedi pressed forward toward the parasite bomb, facing heavy bombardment that decimated the remaining Iesei forces. A division arose among the Jedi as Luke Skywalker issued a call for all Jedi to return to Ossus. Jacen argued for an immediate departure from Snevu. Initially, the Jedi leaned towards Jacen's view, until UnuThul arrived commanding the newly acquired Alliance Star Destroyer, Admiral Ackbar. UnuThul then urged the Joiner Jedi to uncover the truth behind the parasite bomb.

In orbit, the Admiral Ackbar successfully repelled the Chiss task force as the Jedi engaged the Chiss dropships and ground troops. One dropship crashed near the parasite bomb, leading to direct combat between the Jedi and Chiss soldiers. The Chiss refused to surrender, forcing the Jedi to resort to dismember or incapacitate them. Jaina severed the arm of the Chiss team leader, the individual responsible for activating the vape charges. Jacen then overturned the crashed dropship, revealing Jagged Fel, who promptly activated the vape charges. Jacen feigned assistance to Fel, but was actually helping the Chiss ensure the destruction of the parasite weapon.

The surviving Chiss forces retreated into the desert, leaving the Killik nest severely weakened. The Jedi then fractured, with Jaina and Zekk leveraging their distrust of Jacen as a justification to ignore Luke's summons. Lowbacca, Tahiri, and Tesar accompanied Jacen to Ossus. Jaina and Zekk traveled to Tenupe with UnuThul to bolster the defense of the Colony's heartland.
