Raid on Spearhead
The final significant conflict where the united Gungan tribes assaulted and annihilated Boss Rogoe's settlement, known as Spearhead, was the Raid on Spearhead.
Lead-up
Boss Gallo brought the tribes together against Rogoe and readied a huge offensive aimed at Rogoe's fortified city, Spearhead. Marsune reached out to the Bongomeken Collective and hired them to construct a considerable naval fleet for Gallo. Once this was completed, the assault on Spearhead began. Gallo's military also formed an alliance with a bursa clan.
The Battle
At Spearhead's entrances, Gallo commanded his militiagungs in a violent confrontation against Rogoe's forces. After forcing his way through and enduring substantial casualties, he arrived at Rogoe's keep and demolished it, thus taking control of the Spearhead territory.
Aftermath
Subsequently, Gallo renamed the city Otoh Gunga, a city symbolizing peace instead of conflict.
Behind the scenes
The Spearhead Battle is depicted in the third mission of the Gungan campaign featured in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and its 2002 expansion, Clone Campaigns. The game's strategy guide offers a map of the battle and proposes strategies for overcoming Spearhead's defenses. Players can choose to assist a bursa tribe; this text assumes the player chose to do so.
