Beurth Ogh, a male Gamorrean who worked as a camera operator, found himself at the Galactic Senate Rotunda during the Jedi coup of the Galactic Alliance. He was there with journalist Kandra Nilitz, who was reporting for Landing Zone NewsNet. Subsequently, Ogh accompanied Nilitz when she agreed to smuggle the insane Jedi Knights Jysella and Valin Horn away from Coruscant in return for an exclusive story. Upon their arrival at Nam Chorios, the Horns deserted Kandra and Beurth. Beurth then accompanied Kandra as she conducted an interview with Snaplaunce, the mayor of Hweg Shul. Snaplaunce disclosed that the Skywalkers could not have been responsible for stabbing him because they had already departed in his ship, named Vote Snaplaunce. Following this, Kandra contacted Luke Skywalker, proposing a meeting in exchange for transportation. The Skywalkers and Vestara Khai arrived, only to be ambushed by three Sith; however, the Jedi and Vestara successfully overcame them. In return for the ride, Luke shared information with Kandra and Beurth regarding Abeloth and the Lost Tribe of Sith.
