Despite being significantly larger than typical blasters, its design incorporated a heavy grip coupled with a light barrel to maintain balance. Deliah Blue notably carried a Bluebolt during her association with Cade Skywalker and Jariah Syn. During the skirmish on Vendaxa, Syn employed a Bluebolt blaster, discharging a bolt into the chest of Darth Nihl in an effort to rescue Cade. Nevertheless, Nihl's armor allowed him to survive the attack.
