The Blythes constructed their homestead on two adjacent mining claims, both of which they possessed. In the time of the High Republic Era, the homestead became the target of an attack launched by Nihil marauders, who aimed to abduct the Blythes and demand a ransom from their affluent family members residing in the Core Worlds. Following the raid, the Blythe family members who survived decided against returning to the homestead and instead relocated to Alderaan to live with their relatives.
