Book of the Dead

The Book of the Dead, according to legend, was a text supposedly in the possession of the Arakein Monks. In 5 ABY, during the Battle of Jakku, one of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing's pilots participated in a round of Who? What? Where?. This game, played over a comm channel with the New Republic pilot named Vitale, involved players predicting who would be the first to know about their death, the cause of their death, and the location where it would occur. The Imperial pilot, selecting the Arakein Monks as the first to be notified upon their death, asserted that these monks inscribed the names of the dead in the Book of the Dead, ensuring their eternal remembrance.
