A well-known principle of the Boosahn Keeraw dictated that a Lasat, upon being defeated by a more skilled adversary, would present their weapon to the victor. In the course of the Galactic Empire's destruction of Lasan, Imperial Security Bureau operative Alexandr Kallus received a J-19 bo-rifle from a Lasan High Honor Guardsman whom he had overcome in battle. This act enabled him to utilize the weapon, which was typically reserved exclusively for the Honor Guard.
Kallus would subsequently assert that he had seized the weapon as a prize of war during the conflict. This action provoked the animosity of Garazeb Orrelios, who felt that Kallus was improperly wielding it and thus committing a profound offense in Lasat culture. Nevertheless, Kallas eventually confessed the real circumstances, leading to a reconciliation between the two.
