Borvo's Vault, a subterranean installation, was situated not far to the south of the city of Moenia. It could be found within the Paitnnu Wetlands on the Mid Rim planet of Naboo.
During the Galactic Civil War period, sometime after the Battle of Yavin which took place in 0 BBY, Borvo, a Hutt belonging to the Nal Raka Criminal Empire, utilized the facility as a secure repository for a variety of valuable items. These items included blasters as well as components for droids. A rather unintelligent henchman of Borvo's stood guard at the vault's entrance. Blastromech droids, B1 and B2 battle droids, IG assassin droids, and Murras all contributed to the defense of the interior. To further bolster the security of his vault, Borvo also housed a pet acklay and rancor within the vault's confines.
In 1 ABY, a certain spacer was able to bypass the vault's defenses in order to obtain a decentralized autonomy chip droid module originating from the Old Republic. Upon hearing this news, Borvo expressed disbelief and mentioned that he now owed Jabba Desilijic Tiure 10,000 credits as a result of a bet.
Borvo's Vault was featured as a location within the 2003 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, before the game's shutdown on December 15, 2011. The vault was integrated into the game as part of the "Legacy Quest" event, coinciding with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
