The Bracca resistance was a small, contained group of freedom fighters. These fighters were primarily Scrapper Guild employees hailing from Bracca, a world under the control of the First Order. Among them was Puwanini, the sibling of Pacer Agoyo, a member of the Resistance. Pacer Agoyo requested Puwanini's assistance on behalf of General Leia Organa for a mission focused on acquiring starfighters from the junkyard planet.
Shriv Suurgav's Dross Squadron was able to infiltrate Bracca, camouflaged as Scrapper Guild workers, thanks to the crucial intelligence provided by Puwanini. However, when First Order stormtroopers confronted Dross Squadron, Puwanini and her Scrapper Guild colleagues intervened, leading to a gun battle. Puwanini guided Shriv's squad to Platform thirty-three G, the location of several ships slated for dismantling. These included a T-65B X-wing, a pair of T-70 X-wings, and a T-85 X-wing. Dross Squadron successfully fled with the X-wings, but at the cost of Sanrec Stronghammer's life during the conflict.
