Bry was a clone commando in Galaar Squad. He received training from a Corellian sergeant within the Cuy'val Dar. This training prepared him to fight for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.
After the implementation of Order 66 and the subsequent establishment of the Galactic Empire by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, Bry, along with fellow squadmate Ennen, joined Omega Squad's Niner and Darman Skirata to create Squad 40 within the ranks of the 501st Legion.
Their first assignment as a unit involved going to Celen to apprehend Jilam Kester, an Antarian Ranger assisting Jedi in evading Imperial capture. When they stormed Kester's residence, the commandos encountered Jedi Master Iri Camas, who previously led the Special Operations Brigade. After the initial confrontation with Camas, Bry attempted to flank the Jedi Master by entering through a front window. Bry's assault on Camas failed; the Jedi seemed to be wearing armor that deflected his gauntlet vibroblade. Camas fatally stabbed Bry in the chest with his lightsaber, then used the Force to hurl him through an outer wall. Despite Ennen's best efforts to save him, his injuries were too severe.
After his passing, Bry's remains were taken back to Coruscant. There, Ennen insisted on cremation, following the traditions of a Corellian in exile, a heritage the two commandos valued from their training sergeant. Roly Melusar, who became Squad 40's commanding officer after Sa Cuis disappeared, honored Bry with a proper cremation, allowing him to rest in peace.
