Bultar Swan's lightsaber

This lightsaber, which had a green blade, was wielded by Bultar Swan, who was a Knight of the Jedi Order.

Behind the scenes

This lightsaber made its initial appearance in the second film of the prequel trilogy, specifically Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, which premiered on May 16, 2002. Prior to the film's release, a glimpse of the saber was provided in the Attack of the Clones trailer, which was released earlier that year on March 10. Within the current Star Wars canon, the 2017 reference book titled Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia explicitly refers to the weapon, using all capital letters, as "Bultar Swan's lightsaber". Similarly, within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the reference book Star Wars: Attack of the Clones: The Visual Dictionary, authored by David West Reynolds and published on April 23, 2002, also identified the weapon using all capital letters as "Bultar Swan's lightsaber".

Dermot Power, a concept artist working at Lucasfilm, created concept art in 2000 for Bultar Swan, and this art included her lightsaber. The filming of the arena battle scenes featuring the Jedi on Geonosis, which involved lightsaber props including the one belonging to Swan, took place on Stage 3 at Fox Studios, Sydney between August 10 and August 15, 2000. The lightsabers employed during the battle were constructed from aluminum and experienced bending and subsequent repairs during the course of filming.
