A vantage point was constructed overlooking Carannia by the year 42 BBY. In that same year, Jenza, the sibling of Dooku, escorted Jedi Masters Dooku, Lene Kostana, and Sifo-Dyas to this elevated observation point. From there, she revealed the distant city of Carannia engulfed in flames. This sight incensed Dooku, prompting him to devise a strategy for attacking an Abyssin Outpost. This outpost possessed a communications tower, which had been used to impede transmissions during the Incident on Serenno.
