However, Maarva and Clem Andor had already adopted Andor by this time.
The 2016 book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide was the first to mention Cassian Jeron Andor's father. The television program Andor subsequently revealed that Clem Andor, who died on the planet Ferrix, served as Cassian's adoptive father. Given this divergence from his destiny on Carida, as depicted in Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, it is clear that these are two separate people.
