Caves of Eleuabad
The Caves of Eleuabad comprised a series of submerged passageways, filled with water, that existed within the permeable rock formations of the planet Naboo.
History
These caves, situated below the city of Theed and the expansive Great Grass Plains, were well-known as a habitat for dangerous sando aqua monsters. Certain submerged routes from the caves connected to the Solleu River, a waterway that flowed directly through Theed.
During their mission to reach Theed and alert Queen Padmé Amidala about the Trade Federation invasion, Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi negotiated with the Gungans of Otoh Gunga to employ a bongo for subterranean travel. Accompanied by their guide Jar Jar Binks, the Jedi traversed the Caves of Eleuabad, narrowly avoiding a slumbering sando aqua monster before continuing through the underwater passages towards Theed.
