Solleu River

The Solleu River, found on the planet of Naboo, cascaded into a waterfall after flowing along the border of a vast grassy plateau. This river was sustained by subterranean streams originating from the planet's core, linking it to other water sources such as Lake Paonga. A small farming village, established by the human population who colonized Naboo, was built on the Solleu's shores and named Theed. This village subsequently evolved into the planet's capital city. The river coursed along both sides of Theed's Palace Plaza. For countless generations, the humans utilized the river as a meeting point with members of the indigenous Gungan species of Naboo. During the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the Gungan outcast Jar Jar Binks journeyed from the Gungan settlement of Otoh Gunga in Lake Paonga, through the planetary core, and emerged into the Solleu to reach Theed. In the aftermath of the Invasion, during which the Gungans and human societies united in battle, commerce between the two groups via the river experienced substantial growth.
