Paonga Lake was a lake situated on the planet of Naboo. Found within its depths was Otoh Gunga, the submerged capital city of the Gungans. During the Trade Federation's invasion of Naboo, the Gungan Jar Jar Binks guided Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan learner Obi-Wan Kenobi to Paonga Lake in order to connect with his people.
Besides the Gungans, a multitude of other organisms inhabited Lake Paonga, such as yobshrimp and diverse kinds of scalefish.
