Caw-crabs, a species of crab, inhabited the Sarini Island zoo located on the planet Chandrila within the Core Worlds system. In 5 ABY, Brentin, Temmin, and Norra Wexley observed multiple caw-crabs as they scurried and created splashes within their contained habitats during their trip to the aforementioned zoo.
Chuck Wendig included caw-crabs in his 2016 novel, Aftermath: Life Debt, which served as the second book in the Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.
