Clan Awaud was a Mandalorian clan that became divided during the time of the Clone Wars. This divided group from Clan Awaud aligned with the Old Mandalorians and had their base at Vlemoth Port. Nam Beroya, a Chieftain, was their leader until his presumed death, after which Vera Beroya, his adoptive daughter, took over.
On Xorrn, Clan Awaud formed an alliance with the inhabitants of Foundry Four and those who supported the Alliance to Restore the Republic, and they fought against the Galactic Empire during the Battle of Xorrn. The clan commanded a battalion consisting of 800 Mandalorian warriors solely from Vlemoth Port, as the remaining warriors were deployed on various assignments.
