The Old Mandalorians represented one of three distinct factions that emerged from Mandalorian society after the conclusion of the Great Clan Wars; the New Mandalorians and Death Watch were the other two. The Old Mandalorians, much like Death Watch, faced exile from their homeworld of Mandalore. However, in contrast to Death Watch, the Old Mandalorians did not pursue retribution against the New Mandalorians. Rather, these Old Mandalorians established new homes in various regions of the galaxy, where they offered their services to the highest paying clients, thereby upholding their Mandalorian warrior traditions as bounty hunters, mercenaries, and through other occupations.
