Clip beetle

Clip beetles were a type of beetle with purple shells, classified as a non-sentient species. These beetles were a food source, considered edible, for creatures such as Kowakian monkey-lizards and the Sullustans. Dil Pexton, a Sullustan who enjoyed them, noted that dried clip beetles had a flavor reminiscent of colo claw fish.
