Clone Wars Tactics

The Clone Wars Tactics expansion, also known as CWT, for the Star Wars PocketModel TCG (Trading Card Game) represents the initial smaller set of two, both inspired by the Clone Wars animated TV series. Clone Wars: Tactics was launched on November 12, 2008, which was the day following the nationwide DVD release of The Clone Wars movie.

The Clone Wars Tactics expansion introduced fresh gameplay mechanics and ideas, including:

  • New icons for Recon and Artillery
  • Units with articulation

Tactics Scavenger Pack with pre-built Vulture's Claw

The Clone Wars Tactics Scavenger Pack (TSP) centered around Gha Nachkt's salvage efforts, following the story arc where R2-D2 went missing. The only fixed components within the TSP's distribution were the styrene sheet featuring General Grievous' starfighter along with a pair of Porax-38 starfighters as escorts, and the pre-assembled Vulture's Claw itself. The remaining cards and units were packaged randomly, which emphasized the salvaging theme of the release.
