This assembly was prompted by the actions of the Sith belonging to Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, who were trying to seize the Codru-Ji's homeworld, known as Munto Codru. They had contacted Rikkar-Du, seeking to consolidate the clans under his leadership. Rikkar-Du rejected their offer and instead summoned the clan leaders to deliberate on resisting the Sith's schemes.
