Cold Brew Black Caf was a brown-colored drink combining chocolate and caf flavors. This beverage was available for purchase at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo as well as Kat Saka's Kettle. Both of these locations were situated in Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. It was served with cream cheese and chocolate puffs as toppings. At Kat Saka's Kettle, an alcohol-infused version was an available option.
The Cold Brew Black Caf made its debut on the menu of Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in July of 2021 at Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Later, it was offered at Disney's Hollywood Studios's Galaxy's Edge, specifically at Kat Saka's Kettle, beginning on May 31, 2022. Patrons at Hollywood Studios had the choice to order the beverage with chocolate liqueur added, making it an alcoholic offering.
The menu at Disneyland describes it as "Cold Brew Coffee topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs." A similar description is used at Disney's Hollywood Studios: "Joffrey's Coffee™ Cold Brew topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs." The Spiked Cold Brew Black Caf, available at Hollywood Studios, is described as "Joffrey's Coffee™ Cold Brew with Chocolate Liqueur topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs."
The chocolate puffs used as a topping for the drink have drawn comparisons to the well-known American cereal, Cocoa Puffs. For a brief time in 2023, the chocolate puffs at Hollywood Studios were switched out for a different chocolate cereal, similar to the American cereal Cocoa Krispies. However, the original puffs were eventually brought back.
