Saka utilized a number of these spices to create the colorful Outpost Mix that was sold at the store, a snack food made from grain.
During the conflict between the Resistance and the First Order, several beings were employed at Kat Saka's Kettle to assist in running the food stand. Additionally, the Kettle sold souvenir MSE-6 series repair droids that had been modified to carry a customer's Outpost Mix purchase, although these droids were frequently out of stock. The stand also provided a range of beverages for customers to purchase, such as Sprite, Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, and bottled water.
Kat Saka's Kettle was initially introduced into Star Wars canon as a component of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction at both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park. At these locations, the Kettle functions as an actual food stand where park visitors can buy a bag of popcorn that is a vibrant combination of sweet and spicy flavors.
