DASANI, presented with the stylized form DASANI, was a transparent bottled water product. This beverage was available at Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu and possessed a clear appearance. The packaging consisted of a slender, transparent bottle, adorned with a blue and white emblem. Its brand's title was displayed along the bottle's side, rendered in stylized Aurebesh characters. For cooling purposes, these bottles were kept inside of red, box-shaped containers that were packed full of ice.
The Dasani product is inspired by the real-life bottled water product of the same name, which is manufactured by the Coca-Cola Company. Unique globe-shaped containers, excluding the Dasani product, were designed specifically for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The concept for these containers stemmed from a visit to the Coke Archives by members of Walt Disney Imagineering, who were particularly inspired by the Spencerian script utilized in the logos of various Coke products.
According to Matt Cooper, a Coke associate industrial designer, the project pushed his design team to "take their brands places they've never taken them to." He was alluding to the setting of Batuu, with the specific goal of making the bottles appear as if they had been abandoned or retrieved from a spacecraft on Batuu and then repurposed, all while adhering to the visual style of the Star Wars universe. This collaboration between Coca-Cola and Disney isn't new, as Coca-Cola played a role in assisting Disney since the inauguration of Disneyland in 1955.
