During the development of Star Wars: The Bad Batch episode "Battle Scars", Outpost Mix was initially planned as the snack enjoyed by Omega and Wrecker. However, this was later changed to Mantell Mix. This alteration stemmed from the decision to keep Outpost Mix exclusive to Batuu, making it more appropriate for Ord Mantell to feature its own unique snack. The final depiction of Mantell Mix in the episode bears a strong resemblance to Outpost Mix.
