Color of war

The Chagrian species, possessing a highly structured social order, designated a particular red hue as the color of war, exclusively reserved for combatants in their military. In times of war, those donning this color were automatically deemed legitimate military targets. During the Galactic Civil War, numerous Chagrians enlisting in the Alliance to Restore the Republic opted to integrate the color of war into their uniform, frequently manifesting as epaulettes, piping, combat webbing, or a blend thereof. This action fostered unity among Chagrian soldiers and served as a visual indicator of their commitment to the cause.
