Corusca gem

Corusca stones, which are also called Corusca gems, were a particularly uncommon and precious form of gem that could be located on the world of Sarka. To prevent Huga and his group from surrendering her to Solha, a Duke, Padmé Amidala gifted her corusca gem necklace to a male on Mokivj. In Maz Kanata's Smuggler's Guide, Platt Okeefe advised other outlaws to transport corusca stones, in addition to beskar, prismatic crystals, and quella gems, as highly lucrative items.

Behind the scenes

The Legends publication Galaxy Guide 2: Yavin and Bespin (1989) was the first to reference Corusca gems, while the novel Dark Apprentice (1994) marked their initial debut. Corusca gems made their initial canon appearance as an in-game currency within the 2014 video-game Star Wars: Galactic Defense, a mobile-game. Moreover, it was prominently showcased in Star Wars: Puzzle Droids, which was IGN's Mobile Game of the Year.
