Corynna engaged with Sarkin Enneb to retrieve a debt owed to Crimson Dawn. She developed an interest in Qi'ra, who delivered the credits, and decided to acquire her from Enneb. They boarded a shuttle, and Corynna observed Qi'ra throughout their journey. She explained to the girl that her purchase was motivated by the concierge's understanding of Vos's preferences. Upon arrival at the First Light, she instructed Margo to prepare Qi'ra for an audience while she went to confer with Vos.
Over the subsequent months, Corynna's resentment towards Qi'ra grew, leading her to frequently punish the girl for transgressions during her training. In 12 BBY, she was summoned to Vos's office to witness Qi'ra receive the tattoo representing the Crimson Dawn symbol on her wrist, signifying her induction into the criminal organization.
Following Qi'ra's return from Thorum, Corynna continued her training. She participated in a gathering on Nightsend alongside Vos and fellow Crimson Dawn members. During this event, Corynna orchestrated future meetings with representatives from the Five Crime Syndicates.
During this period, she was secretly planning to depose Vos and assume control of Crimson Dawn. She covertly provided information to Cerveteri Slane to facilitate the establishment of independent operations and undermine Vos's authority. Qi'ra's investigation instilled fear in Corynna, leading her to attempt to poison Vos's guards. She was apprehended by Aemon Gremm and brought before Vos. He employed his petar to slash her throat, resulting in a slow and agonizing death by choking.
