Crans served as a member of the Cavrilhu Pirates, a group led by the pirate captain named Zothip.
Alongside Zothip and other pirates such as Portin, Grinner, and Control, Crans participated in an infiltration of Moff Vilim Disra's living space on the Imperial Remnant capital world, Bastion. Unbeknownst to Crans, the Mistryl Shadow Guard operative Karoly D'ulin was tracking their movements. Once they were inside, Karoly assassinated Zothip. Following Zothip's demise, Control assumed leadership of the Cavrilhu Pirates.
