Crolute precursor species

A kind of amphibian life form originated on the planet Crul, located within the Mid Rim. Over millions of years, this life form underwent an evolutionary process, ultimately giving rise to the sentient Crolute species. During the summer months, individuals of this ancestral species would emerge from the water. The males, referred to as "bulls," engaged in combat to secure mates, while both bulls and cows protected their breeding grounds along the shoreline.

Behind the scenes

The initial mention of the Crolutes' evolutionary ancestors can be found in the reference publication Star Wars: Aliens of the Galaxy. This book was authored by Jason Fry and made available to the public on August 23, 2016.
