Custo Ramak, a well-known author from Corellia, passed away years prior to the Cold War that occurred between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. His final piece, Nights of Ryscate and Diamonds, became a treasured and heartfelt narrative detailing his experiences in Coronet City, the capital city of his homeworld, Corellia. Following his death, in accordance with Corellian tradition, Ramak's funeral ashes were transformed into a soul diamond and showcased in the Museum of Fine Art located in Coronet. During the Galactic War Battle of Corellia between the Republic and the Empire, his remains were taken, and whispers suggested they reappeared on Nar Shaddaa.
The initial reference to Custo Ramak can be found within the Codex entry for Coronet City in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game that was launched in 2011 by BioWare and LucasArts.
