Cyruss Okent served as a Jedi Knight within the ranks of the Jedi Order throughout the duration of the Clone Wars, a conflict that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Following the war's beginning in 22 BBY, Okent, along with a number of other Jedi, achieved the rank of Knight in a ceremony that took place at the Jedi Temple some weeks later. Soon after this event, Okent was dispatched to the planet of Bracca, located in the Mid Rim, to become a part of a clone battalion tasked with fighting off a Separatist strike. As a consequence, Okent was the sole member of the newly appointed Knights who was unable to attend a gathering that was hosted for them the following day in the office of Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine.
