D-1G, also referred to as Dee-Onegee, functioned as a pilot droid and was a type of astromech droid assigned to the Rampart. Tobias Beckett gained access to the Rampart's systems by connecting to its console. This droid was present on the Rampart when Tobias Beckett caused the ship's destruction at the space station named Munt Ontdal.
