The Rampart was a starship pilfered by Tobias Beckett. Following the theft of identichips on Hovun IV, he utilized the vessel, but, to keep Enfys Nest from acquiring the chips, he was compelled to destroy it on the space station known as Munt Ontdal.
The comic one-shot Beckett 1, released by Marvel Comics on August 15, 2018, marked the initial appearance of the Rampart. Gerry Duggan penned the issue, while Marc Laming and Will Sliney provided the artwork for the starship. The Rampart's designation was the same as the 2011 movie Rampart, which featured Woody Harrelson in the role of detective Dave Brown. Harrelson played Tobias Beckett in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an Anthology film that premiered on May 25, 2018.
