Dagger 2

Dagger 2 served the Galactic Empire as an Assassin-class corvette.

Leading up to the Battle of Hoth, Dagger 2 transported components for TIE Series starfighters. Simultaneously, its counterpart, Dagger 1, was transporting torpedoes when they both became trapped in a Rebel M2 minefield consisting of type B ion cannon mines.

Two Missile Boats were sent to rescue the corvettes and protect the repair efforts conducted by the Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transport Omega from the Rebel MC40a light cruiser Planka, which appeared to seize the corvettes that the Rebel minefield had captured.

The Missile Boats obliterated the minefield, the Rebel cruiser, and the starfighters deployed by the cruiser. Following this, the Dagger group jumped to hyperspace to proceed with their designated task.
