Residing in Hedrett, Dani was a member of the "watchers," a collective of youths responsible for supervising Cularin's children. When Senator Lavina Wren made arrangements for her marriage, she enlisted the Heroes of Cularin to probe a scheme aimed at disrupting the ceremony. As part of their inquiry, they questioned Dani for any relevant insights. Dani informed them that the children under her supervision had no involvement in the scheme, although some boisterous children from Tolea Biqua on Genarius had recently arrived in Hedrett.
Furthermore, she maintained a friendship with Lora Nadad, a previous "watcher" who departed to pursue Jedi training at the Almas Academy.
