Star Wars: Dark Empire (trade paperback)

Star Wars: Dark Empire is a compilation of the complete six-issue comic book run of Star Wars: Dark Empire. Its initial release was in May of 1993. Prior to this, a Dark Empire Trade Paperback Preview was made available on March 5, 1996. This trade paperback features a foreword written by Kevin J. Anderson, which discusses the then-current developments within the Expanded Universe. It also contains endnotes that elaborate on numerous plot elements from the broader Star Wars narrative, which are not explicitly covered within the six collected comics. These endnotes were exclusive to the first two printings of Dark Empire, and were completely omitted from the third edition onwards.
