Now, in Rebel Agent, Kyle uncovers more about his father's discovery in the Valley of the Jedi which ultimately resulted in his demise. Kyle is finally granted the rank of Knighthood as a Jedi, and he is ready to avenge his father's death and prevent the Dark Jedi from seizing control of the energy source beneath the valley.

Opening crawl

Since the story is presented in two segments, it features a pair of opening crawls.

Continuity

Kyle states that it has been eight years since the events of Soldier for the Empire, but the canonical timeline indicates a five-year gap.

Similar to the novel, Leia is addressed as Leia Organa Solo, even though she would not be married at the time, despite the aforementioned incorrect dating.
