Around 3625 BBY, Darth Malgus visited the Temple of Nul situated on Elom, where the holocron was stored. Following the events that transpired, Sa'har Kateen, a Jedi Padawan, made her escape with the holocron in her possession.
The holocron, when used in conjunction with a Sith-engineered device, possessed the capability to enhance the powers of individuals with only a minor Force-sensitive aptitude. However, it did not alter their core personalities.
After successfully overcoming Ri'kan Kateen aboard the Hidden Chain command ship and subsequently destroying the Sith apparatus, the Alliance Commander finally secured the holocron and fled the vessel just before its imminent destruction.
After the holocron is obtained, players aligned with the Empire are contacted by Darth Krovos, while players aligned with the Republic are contacted by Arn Peralun. Both figures request that the holocron be handed over to their respective factions. The player then has the option to either comply with this request or retain possession of the holocron.
