Darth Ravi the Bold, also recognized as Darth Ravi, was a Sith Lord who possessed Force-sensitivity, and he was regarded as ancient by the time the High Republic Era had arrived. The Echo Stone was kept concealed from Darth Ravi on the planet Angcord.
The initial reference to Darth Ravi occurred within a flashback featured in the comic one-shot titled The High Republic Adventures: Quest of the Jedi. This comic was penned by Claudia Gray, and it was brought to publication by Dark Horse Comics on April 26, 2023. Before the comic was available to the public, a segment from the one-shot, which contained a reference to Darth Ravi, was shared as part of a piece on the official Star Wars website on April 9 of that same year. His first physical appearance was subsequently in the first issue of the comic miniseries Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Echoes of Fear, which was authored by George Mann and had illustrations by Eduardo Mello.
