Davik Kang's residence functioned as both his personal dwelling and the central headquarters for his Exchange activities on Taris; it was the Davik Kang estate. This expansive property was comprised of numerous chambers and sections. Within the guest lounge, a dedicated slave chamber offered complimentary massages to visitors. An armory and a torture chamber were also present, used by Kang for questioning unwanted people, such as Hudrow. Security was tight, with guards diligently patrolling nearly every area of the estate. Davik Kang's top lieutenants, the Mandalorian Canderous Ordo and the bounty hunter Calo Nord, each maintained private rooms within the estate. Nord's living space was adorned with numerous taxidermied animal heads, notably including that of a juvenile rancor. A massive hangar served as the home for Kang's most cherished asset, the Ebon Hawk.
Following Revan's emergency landing on Taris alongside Carth Onasi, Ordo conceived a plan to abscond with the Ebon Hawk alongside Revan and flee the doomed world. To execute this plan, they gained entry into Davik's estate under the pretense that Revan sought employment with the Exchange. Once Kang and Nord were gone, they thoroughly investigated the premises, seizing the majority of Kang's belongings, eliminating most of the guards, and ultimately arriving at the hangar just as Darth Malak and the Sith initiated the bombardment of the planet. Davik and Calo also entered the hangar, leading to a confrontation. Damage from Malak's attacks caused the estate to collapse and Davik was killed. Calo was presumed dead, but he managed to survive the planetary destruction.
