Deadeye
Deadeye was the designation of a clone cold assault trooper. This trooper served with distinction in the Devil Dogs unit, which was part of the 44th Special Operations Division within the Grand Army of the Republic during the tumultuous period of the Clone Wars. The trooper met his end circa 22 BBY during the Battle of Khorm. He was killed in action against the Dark Acolyte, Asajj Ventress, and a contingent of BX-series droid commandos. This sacrifice occurred while he was on a critical mission to eliminate a Confederate weather-control station.
Biography
Deadeye was one of many clones derived from the genetic template of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. These clones were created on the planet Kamino to bolster the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic. During the Clone Wars, Deadeye functioned as a cold assault trooper within the Devil Dogs unit, a component of the 44th Special Operations Division under the leadership of Major Kendal Ozzel. Around 22 BBY, Deadeye took part in the Battle of Khorm, a conflict in which the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems struggled for dominance over the valuable agrocite ore deposits on the frigid world of Khorm. As part of a Republic vanguard commanded by Jedi Generals Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Tauht, Deadeye and the Devil Dogs successfully landed on Khorm's surface before a severe atmospheric storm cut off further reinforcements.

The Republic's ground forces swiftly seized an agrocite processing facility and received crucial information from Republic Admiral Wieler concerning a Confederate starship that had navigated the storm with ease. Recognizing that the storm was being artificially generated by a weather-control station erected by the Confederacy, Koon and Fisto, accompanied by Deadeye and the Devil Dogs, embarked on CK-6 swoops with the objective of destroying the facility and clearing the path for Republic reinforcements. Following a brief pause to inter the dead of the indigenous Khormai population in a village ravaged by the storm, the Republic strike team proceeded to ascend the nearby mountains on foot. It was there that they were ambushed by the Confederate Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress.
Ventress engaged the two Jedi in fierce battle, while her contingent of BX-series droid commandos emerged from the snow to assault the clone troopers. After a short duel with the Jedi, Ventress employed the Force to trigger an avalanche upon the Republic forces. Subsequently, she searched for survivors, personally executing those she found before departing the scene. Deadeye was among the casualties suffered during this encounter with Ventress and her battle droids. However, the Jedi had managed to create a Force bubble that shielded themselves and several clone troopers, including Devil Dogs Captain Sharp, from the full force of the avalanche. After Ventress's departure, the remaining members of the Republic strike team pressed on with their mission, successfully destroying the weather-control facility and paving the way for the Republic victory.
Personality and traits
Like his clone brethren, Deadeye had a height of 1.83 meters.
