Deela Quellor

title: Deela Quellor

Deela Quellor, a female intelligence operative, operated during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

Story

In the year 1 ABY, Deela Quellor successfully extracted data records from a repository in Mos Eisley controlled by the notorious crime boss Jabba the Hutt. These records had been previously pilfered by Jabba from his rival, Gardulla Besadii the Elder. Following the records' retrieval by Deela, Jabba dispatched his enforcers with orders to eliminate her and recover the stolen information.

Meanwhile, a man known as Rakir Banai sought information regarding the enslaved population of Tatooine in his quest to locate his long-lost son, Kitster. Rakir contracted a spacer, tasking them with locating Deela Quellor and ensuring her safe return to him. The spacer eventually found Deela, rescuing her from Jabba's pursuing henchmen. Together, the spacer and Deela safely returned to Wayfar with Gardulla's records. From these records, Rakir Banai discovered that his son was alive and residing on Tatooine, a truth deliberately concealed by his employer, Drik Bandrik.

Behind the scenes

Randomly generated depictions of Deela Quellor, including one male depiction deemed non-canon in Legends

Deela Quellor appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 computer game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a MMORPG created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts. This game's servers were taken offline on December 15, 2011. Due to the procedural nature of many older missions in Star Wars Galaxies, Quellor's species could vary each time a player engaged with the quest. Her spawn template allowed her to manifest as either a dark haired, brown eyed Human female, a yellow eyed female Twi'lek, or even a male Twi'lek. Consequently, from an internal perspective, Quellor's species could be interpreted as either Human or Twi'lek. Rakir Banai's dialogue in the quest also implied that Quellor was female.

Additionally, although not explicitly stated in the quest dialogue, an examination of her character revealed her to be an entertainer. However, this designation was primarily a result of game mechanics, stemming from Quellor's placement within the randomized entertainer spawn template.
