Desultori, situated within the Yde system, was the location of the esteemed University of Desultori. It also served as the residence of the well-known writer, Aanxi Raanxi Laanxi.
The book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, released in 1993, included a reference to Desultori. Leland Chee, an employee of Lucasfilm responsible for the Holocron continuity database, has stated that the details presented in the book are considered non-canonical.
