Hask employed this starship in his mission to recover the Phantom Project technology located on Mrlsst. The gravitic polarization beam, activated by Mirax Terrik just as the vessel was poised to obliterate the Pulsar Skate, resulted in the destruction of the Dominator.
According to The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia from 2008, the Dominator is a modified Immobilizer 418 cruiser. However, both X-Wing Rogue Squadron 8 and The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia itself portray the Dominator as an Interdictor-class Star Destroyer, consistent with the description provided in The Essential Guide to Warfare.
