The name "Drexel II" originated from Rich Handley and Joe Bongiorno in their piece The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life: The Marvel Series, which appeared in Star Wars Gamer 1 during 2000. Jason Fry verified that the reason for the creation of the Drexel Minor system was due to the original Drexel system as seen in Marvel Star Wars only having a single planet, known as Drexel, making it impossible to also include Drexel II, which was referenced in subsequent materials.
