Durr Roddack, a male Human, resided on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War. He served as a manager within the White Thranta Shipping Company, which secretly facilitated the illicit operations of Jabba the Hutt's criminal organization.
Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, Durr Roddack held a managerial position at the White Thranta Shipping Company, a front that concealed the unlawful activities of Jabba the Hutt's criminal syndicate. His direct supervisor was the Director of Operations, Brok Ziam.
In the year 1 ABY, without Jabba's knowledge, Durr Roddack illicitly obtained blueprints for an experimental military speeder. Subsequently, the spymaster Kaesii DuPree deployed an operative to infiltrate the White Thranta Shipping base with the aim of retrieving the stolen schematics. After the spy successfully completed the mission, Kaesii DuPre made contact with one of Roddack's rivals, offering to sell them the stolen plans. When Durr Roddack discovered this proposition, he became extremely worried, which in turn convinced DuPre and her prospective buyer of the authenticity of the plans. Ultimately, Kaesii DuPree threatened Roddack by suggesting she would reveal his theft of the plans to Jabba, and then blackmailed him to extract additional funds.
Concurrently, an individual spacer under the employ of Reimos Taligg, a subordinate of Jabba, infiltrated the White Thranta facility with the intention of uncovering proof that the company was plotting against Jabba. After examining the company's confidential files, they found incriminating evidence linking Durr to disturbing medical experiments, prompting Reimos to instruct the spacer to assassinate Durr. However, it was only after Durr's demise that Reimos came to understand that Durr was not the mastermind behind the experiments. Upon reviewing Durr's private records, it became evident that he was a negligent employee working under the supervision of Brok Ziam. Durr had been embezzling funds from the company for his personal gain and was, in fact, planning to abscond from the company in the days leading up to his death.
Durr Roddack functioned as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, prior to its shutdown on December 15, 2011. Durr Roddack's inclusion in the game was part of the "Legacy Quest," which accompanied the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
Within the game environment, Durr Roddack was initially designated as Dren Riddick. However, the developers, for reasons that remain unclear, opted to change his name in the "Chapter 2" update, which was launched on August 1, 2006. Furthermore, the Mos Eisley segment of the "Legacy Quest" underwent a significant overhaul with the introduction of the "Chapter 3" update on September 27, 2006, resulting in substantial modifications to Durr Roddack's quest, although the core narrative remained relatively consistent.
